
Jürgen De Vyt is an energy executive with extensive experience across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He began his career with ENGIE, managing major industrial projects in Europe and North Africa, including the delivery of an 800 MW ultra‑supercritical coal‑fired power plant in Germany.
He served as CEO of Al Batinah Power Company and later of SMN Power holding in Oman, and held operational leadership roles in Bahrain for the Al Dur and Al Ezzel power plants. In 2022, he was appointed CEO of SAFIEC in Morocco, overseeing an asset representing approximately 25% of the Kingdom’s power generation.
